Sovay's aerial journey started in 2017 with a Lyra/aerial hoop class taught by Jessica Young at Good Karma studio in Albany New York, where she was immediately hooked. In the past 3 years Sovay has trained in different aerial disciplines including aerial silks, sling(hammock), but Lyra remains her specialty. She spent October-December of 2020 in Puerto Escondido training silks, hoop and contortion with master teachers Kerri Kresinski, Chloe Axelrod, and Dwoira Galilea. Sovay is excited to share her knowledge and creativity to the Hampton Road circus community.
